Zoë Kravitz to star in upcoming untitled Apple TV movie

Apple TV confirmed today that Zoë Kravitz (Mad Max: Fury Road) is returning to the streaming platform for a new project, following her appearances in The Studio. Here are the details.

Zoë Kravitz joins Megan Park’s next project

Apple TV’s account on X confirmed today that Zoë Kravitz has joined the cast of an upcoming movie from writer and director Megan Park (The Fallout, My Old Ass).

As The Hollywood Reporter reported last month, Apple Original Films granted the rights to the yet untitled movie when it “prevailed in the bidding war” for the project, which will be produced by LuckChap, a production company run by Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wall Street), Tom Ackerley, Josey McNamara, and Milan Popelka.

THR said Apple granted the rights after beating out “Warner Bros., Sony, Universal as well as Amazon and Netflix,” and that Park herself will also executive produce the movie.

Apple has yet to confirm the plot of the untitled project, but THR says that it has ”tones of Adam Sandler’s Big Daddy and Julia Roberts’ Step Mom”:

This will be the second collaboration between Park and LuckyChap, following the breakout success of My Old Ass, which won 12 awards and received 34 nominations after its 2024 release.

As is usually the case with projects still in early production, there is no word yet on when it might premiere on Apple TV or whether it will also get a theatrical release.

Apple TV is available for $12.99 per month and features hit TV shows and movies like Severance, The Studio, The Morning Show, Shrinking and Silo.
